Introducing AniSound

For AC/DC/powerpack throttle, AniSound plays/loops 5 different MP3 audio files (you choose, download or create) when triggered by any of 5 buttons or motion/magnetic switches.

For DCC, 1000s of audio files can be played/looped and sequenced together or triggered by DCC functions, even to other locos.

The included SD Card holds 3 hours of audio with many samples.

AniSound talks to you to ease configuration/alerts.

Rail Conductor

About Us

Rail Conductor is owned and operated by model railroader, Greg Privette.  He credits his career at NASA to his model railroading hobby.  Greg was off and running as a teenager with the first 5V power supply circuit described in Model Railroader magazine.  This blossomed into embedded software development for NASA probes Magellan to Venus, Galileo to Jupiter, Stardust to comet Wild-2 and now weather satellites that collect weather data for our planet four times a day.

Now Greg desires to give back to the hobby.  The products shown here leverage technology Greg developed for his own Olympic Logging layout published by Model Railroader magazine and pictured on this website - click to view article.

Please reference the "blog" links (click upper right) to see how Greg wired products to make sunsets, moving water tank spouts and opening loco shed doors.  You can even share your own installations in the blog for others!
